WP Themes
I’ve made several WordPress Themes from time to time, but until now I haven’t made them for public release. Now it’s time to give it a go, and let the WordPress community be the judge of my work. So far there’s only one theme, maybe there will be more, maybe not.
I will not give any email support, but I’ll be happy to answer your questions if you post them as comments here. And if you discover any errors or bugs, please let me know!
Djupvik Theme
Djupvik Theme
A 3-column WordPress theme, 960px width, replaceable header image, displays excerpts on front page (easy to change), both sidebars widget enabled, extra widget area in the footer. Enjoy!
A brief ”How-To” is planned, covering changing header image and changing from excerpts to full posts on front page.
Update 11/5: comments.php is now in English, as it should be, included in version 1.0.4.

Update 16/6: I promised I would tell you how to change the header image and switch from excerpts to full posts on the front page, so here it is.
How to change the header image:
You need a picture sized 940*180px, named header.jpg. Save it into the folder /djupvik/images and you’re done! If your preferred picture has another format, such as .png or .gif, or a completely different name it’s ok. In that case you have to open the file /djupvik/css/layout.css in a text editor, look for the following block:

background: url('../images/header.jpg');
height: 180px;
min-height: 180px;
margin-top: -10px;
}
Change header.jpg to whatever your picture is called, and save the file.
How to switch from the display of excerpts to full posts on the front page:
That’s really a peace of cake. Just open the file /djupvik/index.php in a text editor, look for the following line:
<?php the_excerpt() ?>
Replace that line with:
<?php the_content() ?>
Save the file and you’re done!

Hej. Såg på din förra ”download” länk att den räknade antal nerladdningar. Använder du plugin som te.x ”Download Manager” eller har du hårdkodat ett själv?
Hi, any chance of getting a comments php in English, for some reasons the comments box is in your language, I’ve tried to edit it but it doesn’t seem to want to change. Thanks for your understanding.

Det är svinläckert. Är det ett eget??? Isf skrik till när du gör det publikt 
Har inte hittat nåt jag gillar jättemycket f.ö. men jag har ju precis börjat med wp

I absolutely love your theme, I am seriously considering using it for my blog.
Just one wish, do you think you will be able to make the header dynamic? i.e. whenever user refreshes the page, the header images changes randomly.

Thanks for the nice template. It’s clean, easy to read, and easy to work with (even for the less experienced). Thanks for the code on how to change the header image. That’s on our agenda for the next week or so. You’ve made this whole process very easy.

Hi: Absolutely love this theme. The calming and serene feel is perfect for what I need. Is there a way to make the font used for the title bolded. The print characters fade into the background.
Also, I’d love to use the header image for business cards and post cards. How can that happen?

I’m glad you like it!
Moving one sidebar to the left side wouldn’t be done too easy, though. That would require a good portion of knowledge about html and css.

Hello! I love the theme. Is it possible for us to modify the colors in the sidebar? I was hoping to change the purple, but can’t find where in the stylesheet. Any advice is appreciated.

How do i remove the blog title and tagline form the header image. I want to use my own fonts in my custom header.
Det var Download Manager rakt av, utan några som helst inställningar. (Jag hade den bara tills det blivit uppdaterat till den rättade css-en på wordpress.org.)

Ja, det är eget, men eftersom jag gjort det för mig själv så är det lite väl mycket hårdkodat för att det ska funka som publikt. Kanske fixar jag till det en dag när jag inte har något annat för mig…:)
